For 25 years I've used the old DOS release of PC-Outline. I loved the transparent interface so much that I kept an old DOS computer running just to sort out my thoughts. I even talked to the code's owner about buying the rights to it altogether. So I was really surprised when I tried Action Outline Lite -- the intuitive keyboard commands felt like my old friend, and the split-screen layout allowed me to navigate and write and edit without having to page up or page down. This is the first real improvement over PCO I've seen.
